This is a paper template. You need to punch out letters and numbers before you can use them. Be careful, they don't tear. Anyway, some pieces of tape and I was able to put the word "Family" in dark blue paint on my mirror. Worked great! Also, you can reuse them.

I ordered these stencils to make banners for a bachelorette party. The price was good and included the whole alphabet and numbers. I was a bit disappointed that the stencils were paper. I wouldn't call them "durable cardboard" but more like cardboard. Be careful when removing letters from the stencil as they can easily tear. At the same time, the design of the letters was appealing. I was able to change some of the letters (R, A, etc.) to look less like a stencil, which I liked. I haven't tried

I have not used this product and probably will not. That wasn't the style I was looking for. I'm sure it will work great. The package has not been opened. It would be nice to see the style of all the letters in the insert, it was only when I received the package that I saw the shape of all the letters. There is a photo on the back of the package. Perhaps they should include this photo in their ad. I contacted the seller and he was very easy to deal with.

I decided to buy these AFTER reading all the reviews and I'm glad I did. They do their job! The letters are very easy to knock out, just give it some time or they will break. One review suggested putting a clear sealant on them, which I did before using, and it made them a little less sensitive. If you do, keep them for multiple uses. Acrylic paint will stick to it and won't rub off as easily.

These are paper templates that fit my needs. However, remember that I spent about 20 minutes punching through the inside of the stencils so I could use them (one of them broke during the process, but I was still able to hold and paint over it). I used them to paint on burlap which worked well. I have used some of the letters 4 times and they have held up well. I kept the internals because I can use them to track emails in the future.
