Mini dock - works well

Bought this for my new Dell laptop as the laptop didn't have VGA or DP ports. This mini dock works well. The only problem I had was that when I was powering a VisionTek device, my laptop was not recognizing enough power. So I unplugged it and plugged it directly into the laptop and so far everything is working fine. This is my first day with this product and so far no complaints.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • There are flaws

Doesn't work with USB 2.0 ports

This product is for 2 monitors, I have a displayport and HDMI and they work great. However, I have a printer, speaker washer, camera, and USB keyboard/mouse and none of them work in dual USB sockets. This defeats the purpose of just plugging in my laptop and using everything. :(

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • confused

Excellent USB-C Dock that supports 2 monitors simultaneously

Portable USB-C Dock works great. You can connect two monitors at the same time, one via HDMI and the other via VGA (there are resolution limitations for dual monitors, but both work in Full HD). Worked at the time of connection (Windows 10). No questions. Works perfectly. I don't even know it's there and that's the best I can say about a peripheral hub like this.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Works well with Dell Latitude series laptops

As soon as I close the lid to use my external monitors the external monitors turn off and I go back to the login screen which isn't a big deal but a bit on Trouble to re-enter the password. Otherwise - works well and is worth the money I paid for this unit.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Minor issues

Good, but obvious flaws

Neat product. It works with both my HP work laptop and my wife's Dell work laptop. However, one of the USB ports got stuck on the Bluetooth stick and we can't get it out. I can't explain this lack and its disappointment since this stick is permanently in the dock, otherwise I'm satisfied with the dock.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Works great and the price was good.

Very easy to use, plug and play. I work from home on a 17" laptop (Windows) and needed to extend the display. I now have a pair of 24 inch monitors along with my laptop to give me all the desktop space I need to run multiple office applications at the same time. The only downside to this product is the length of the included USB-C cable, which is only about 3 inches long. That's not a problem for me, but even a few inches more length would give users a lot more flexibility in placement.

Pros
  • Notebook Accessories
Cons
  • Doubtful

Excellent technical support

I bought the VT200 docking station to be able to run two monitors from my laptop. NOT VISIONTEK'S FAULT, it didn't work. Turns out the USB-C Gen 1 port on my new HP laptop was just a data port and didn't support external monitors. I only discovered this thanks to VisionTek's extremely fast, thorough and professional email technical support. Because of their support I ordered another VisionTek product which should work fine with my new laptop. This is the best product support I've ever seen!

Pros
  • Docking stations
Cons
  • Available in black only

Works well - Dual monitors

Does exactly what it says. Dual monitor, however, your laptop can be a third display. May depend on your operating system and laptop. It's a USB-C power transition, which means you can connect a power source to it as long as you have USB-C power. It's smaller but has 1 HDMI, 1 DisplayPort, 1 VGA. If you have the same cables for both monitors you will need an adapter but I think most people have VGA unless both monitors are new then you will probably want to use the HDMI and Display ports…

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
