Fits in a large coffee mug to use at home to hold an iPhone for Skype or other interactive purposes. Recently took the bowl and got to the hospital for video calls for patient use. With restricted driving during Covid I have found that home use has increased usage of the holder. Used in this way, it is a useful item in a household drawer.

I was afraid that the hand holding the phone would fall under the weight of the phone. It's not very strong and stays in place very well. There is no more glare on my screen. I have a different type of phone holder that blocked the air conditioner vent. If you live in Florida, it's not that great. It also left shines on my screen when I had a map on my phone. This solves this problem perfectly.

Fits my cup holder. Part of the holder tends to pivot toward the gear rod, requiring it to be moved sideways to place a cup in an adjacent holder and move in or out of park. But I prefer another that fits in the air conditioner vent and allows my phone to get supercooled or if left in the car on a hot summer day it gets hot. However, you have to do without the drink holder.

The device is TOP! I can't believe I waited so long to buy it. Since I use my cell phone to navigate, the telescopic flex arm works great. If it didn't have such a long, curved arm, and just sat lower and closer to the cup holder, it wouldn't be worth using. No more fiddling with your phone and dropping it on the floor or between seats. I don't know who came up with this, but I'm glad they did.

I purchased this item to use with my Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone. Mounting the cup holder is a bit fiddly. Installation requires a twist to lock it in place; and if the phone holder isn't properly aligned, it won't snap into place. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you do a preliminary check before driving and use a phone case to ensure the safety of your device. I chose a replacement to give it another chance as the F150 truck I use for work suits me better. All other mounts I've tried are either uncomfortable or don't work well. This one fits perfectly in the seat cup holder on the center console. I will give 4 stars and update if necessary. We value suppliers' commitment to customer satisfaction. **** Broken after one month…
