An interesting project for beginners. Bought for a group of students. Attaching the IC chip was the hardest part. Make sure it's facing the right direction before soldering. The volume was surprisingly loud for such a small device!

No instructions just a few parts. For the $ it was worth it. But it's almost impossible to solder a chip without professional equipment. Unless you are a very experienced electrician. The rest of the set was a little easier.

The IC is a tiny SMD. Correct soldering is very difficult. I had to buy another one which cost the same as the whole set. If you don't have any SMD soldering experience, this may seem difficult. All other components were installed in less than 15 minutes.
