I bought this to remove the cat fur from our furniture but it has snagged, ripped or pulled on every fabric we've used it on. He stuck to the tapestry, pulled the cotton chairs and literally tore up the thick chenille sofa. My pillow now looks like it pulled out long, fibrous hairs. Definitely not worth the risk. I'll come back to using a soft brush to remove fur.

I originally bought this to use on my clothes as I was annoyed with the amount of lint in the dryer and the amount of lint wipes I used. I do not recommend this for clothing as it will rip anything you wear. However, it is GREAT for furniture, carpets and some rugs. I've included some photos of an ottoman I have that picks up the lint from the carpet when you put your feet on it. It grabs the whole pile and makes it easy to toss in the trash.
