soldering iron fell apart completely within a few days (approx 4 hours of use) of using this unit and within two weeks (approx 8 hours) of the hot air repair station intermittently failed. Would definitely not recommend.

The first thing that came to mind upon unboxing was "wow, it's tiny”. Hope it works fine. And in doing so, he exceeded my expectations. If you're short on space or don't want to sacrifice too much bench space, this is a great option. Excellent temperature control, the wand's heat dissipation is incredibly fast, and don't forget the sleep mode option. All in all a great little device.

Pretty impressive for the price, the iron is small and with a very thin tip, the extra extra tips are very handy too, a smaller director can also be used on the hot air side, but overall it's pretty impressive for the cost , the only complaint is that the device doesn't come with any sort of manual or booklet, so it doesn't say what's read from the temperature or how to set it up. but it works great!
