Type of review

Beautifully finished. Smooth bearings. BUT. Mine had the main shaft warped/out of alignment causing it to jump more than 2mm out of round at the end of the drill. This makes it impossible to do precise work (which it's there for). Good for roughing, but if you want to use it for Lutheran work like sanding the bevels or sides of a guitar or other fine, fine work, YMMV.

Great if you never want to change the drum

It's well made but I had to use baby powder to apply the sanding drum. Then when I go to change drums, I can't get the old one off. Yes, the nut is off. I'll probably wait until the keg wears out and cut it off, then put the next powder keg back on. Would give 5 stars if the rubber drum was the correct diameter. Both drum sizes have the same problem. Maybe a metric drum with SAE size sleeves, or just lousy quality control. Who knows.

  • great product
Cons
  • Something different

Excellent quality but only for roughing

Wasn't expecting much but very impressive quality tool. Steel shaft, plain bearings held together by quality spring clips. The handle is clearly high quality aluminum and not the plastic I was expecting. I use tools every day, took this one out of the box, threw it on my Milwaukee and got to work. Handle and grip are perfectly straight, nothing dangling; but it's not a precision tool like a dedicated spindle grinder, so it's best for roughing. You'll need to tighten the union nut a bit to avoid
