Well with the help of this product I was finally able to reattach the bracket to the dash part. The bracket attaches the panel to a metal frame in the dash, and without fasteners to hold the panel in place things wouldn't look right. I was able to match the plastic code with one of the many plastic rods that came with it, and using wire mesh I was able to make a strong connection where even two-part plastic epoxy hadn't worked before.

Great set for occasional use. I broke a piece of plastic sheeting on my lawnmower at work. It was an old mower and would take hours to disassemble to replace, not to mention the part would cost more than the mower itself. Ordered this kit, took 5 minutes to read the instructions, and 15 minutes later the crack was repaired. A little grinding and you can't even tell there was a problem. This saved me and the customer a lot of money and headaches.

This is the first plastic welder I have ever used. While I have a feeling this works well, there are a few things to watch out for. First, welding complex plastic parts is almost impossible. The level of detail required is simply not achievable with this type of kit. You can try and it worked for me, but it's very difficult.
