Good but not great

They are great, I bought them for dementia as she kept picking at her scabs and managed to get rid of them. Velcro wasn't a very good idea.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

My patient can take them off. Likewise .

My patient is successful. You can also turn the gloves on their side and still scratch yourself as there is no extra padding on the sides.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not sure

Good value for money: braces, splints and bandages

I thought the arms were in the middle and the padding all around. This is not the case, a person can still rub or scratch with the back of their hand. Otherwise everything is fine, fasteners and very thick padding.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Only available in black

They keep hands dry and healthy.

My son sucks on his hands which makes him vomit and his hands hurt and ache. Mittens prevent both scenarios. He has to wear them for most of his waking hours. The hands stay dry and healthy. It's a little difficult to get your hands in the hole.

Pros
  • Hand and Wrist Brace
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Very good at his job.

I love mittens, they do their job very well, keeping me awake while I sleep. I have bad night terrors but work very well, only the front half of the mittens have padding which works really well and keeps you from holding on to anything but not so good for the outer half due to work.

Pros
  • Health and Housekeeping
Cons
  • Big and chunky

what kind of stupid, ridiculous gloves are those

we have a 9-year-old child with severe autism. We bought them hoping to keep them from hitting themselves and others. it takes three of us to try to slip her hand through the hole and then go through the most complicated velcro obstacle system ever to attach to gloves. To be honest, these gloves can only be worn when the patient is sound asleep. and even then, they can still twist their arms off the ground. If I could I would demand a full refund AND a letter of apology from the sinister…

Pros
  • hand, arm and finger pads
Cons
  • slightly torn
