Plug and Play - Automotive Electronics

Plugs directly into the rear doors of my 2018 Toyota RAV4 and is plug and play. The quality seems to be good. Factory foam is included on both the top and bottom to create a good seal. Would buy again.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Unsafe

Fits 2016 4 channel model

Fits 2016 4 channel model rear doors although not listed anywhere, good upgrade from factory. Don't distort I have a 6x9 component in front of it. Soundproofing in all doors including the rear door. The tailgate speakers are the same size as the tailgates, so they need to fit as well.

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Upgrades

5th gen 4runner perfect for tailgate

I bought these hoping they would fit in the tailgate of my 2013 4runner and they do! Excellent! The full frequency response is very noticeable as the OEM speakers are mono, meaning individual speakers, and they are coaxial with a tweeter, which really makes a big difference. I ordered another set for the rear doors.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • some imperfections

WILL NOT FIT 2001 TOYOTA CELICA GTS

I have a 2001 Toyota Celica GTS. I ordered these speakers to replace the front drivers and passenger side speakers. They didn't work as a plug and play option. Instead I had to cut the wires and basically wire everything up in a very complicated way. The product says it's compatible with the car, but it definitely isn't.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

Excellent Second 2006 Toyota Tacoma Rear Speaker Upgrade

Excellent Second 2006 Toyota Tacoma Rear Speaker Upgrade. They turn on instantly and sound 100x better than standard speakers. The biggest difference is the 1-inch dome tweeter, which really helps with ambient noise, and the less drab factory driver, which is a simple bicone. I recommend PowerBass speakers.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Having trouble

Speed up, save time

A big upgrade. Installed on the Corolla and quickly completed its task. Direct Fit. In the rivet set you will need a rivet gun or other fasteners. Be sure to install carefully to avoid rattling, which will drown out the bass of the factory radio. When drilling out the original rivets, be sure to remove any excess material that falls into the door.

Pros
  • Great value
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Center Speakers in Speakers

Great product as it fits most Toyota vehicles but Scion TC owners never forget that these 6.5 inch speakers only fit in the front door, not the back door , Your rivets need to be drilled out. No wiring harness required and new rivets I used, sound quality is lower than expected, I don't notice much difference from the factory/stock speakers, maybe a new head unit

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
