Works well. on Suspension Parts & Kits

Minor issue. One of the grindstones was loose and popped out after honing several brake cylinders. A little glue and they came out like new and we sharpen them again. In general, the tool works well.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Update Availability

Very disappointed. The size is wrong.

I bought this specifically for grinding 3/4" bushings. This will not sharpen them in any way as they will not break enough to fit the bushing bore. Also the shoes are riveted. Lots Good luck replacing with the Revain recommended stones.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Great price

I'm sure he will do fantastically what he had to do.

I used this to sharpen the damper. It worked great there, so I don't see why it shouldn't work for what it's designed for. Please note that they are different sizes, so choose the right one. They also have different granular stones (not included in this pack).

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Annoys me

Worked great rebuilding AirMate and Dewalt air compressors

I recently rebuilt an AirMate 2 canister and a Dewalt air compressor with a single canister (rings, tabs, gaskets) which are basically the same pump have. to prepare the walls of the cylinders and (unlike Dingle Balls) to let me know if the cylinders were out of round.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Something wrong

Mediocre build quality - average performance

Bought because I'm bored with the throttle. I'm tying this out of service, but sharpening the engine cylinder was too big. The spring tension can be adjusted, which is good and bad. Too tight and you've removed all material, too tight and it will stick. The shoes could have lasted longer but you get what you pay for. The arms/legs bend slightly, so be careful not to hit any bumps. Note. Be sure to use machine oil for lubrication.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to tell
