It really works. Using it in my GM 4L60E gearbox, no leaks, seals are perfect. The tool is very easy to hit or loosen, it must be secured with tape or zip ties. Would buy again.

This is a quick and easy gear debris removal tool when removing the driveshaft needed to remove the gear and/or motor without draining the fluid. Would I buy again although I find it a bit pricey for what it is.

Excellent product. Used this when replacing ls engine and trans. I removed the engine and transmission as a whole without draining the transmission oil and without spilling a drop. I used some zip ties to keep them in place. It's still in the gearbox, just waiting to be installed in another car. Definitely worth the money if I bought 2 because I had to convert the 4l60 I installed and it spilled a bit.

Used when I needed to tow my car across states and the onboard option was not an option. Since leaving the car in neutral when towing is bad for the transmission, I had to disconnect the driveshaft. This kept me from draining my transmission and prevented a fluid leak. When I got to my destination, I put the driveshaft in place and was able to go without worrying about topping up fluid.

Pro: Fits on the rear shaft of the 200R4 gearbox and seems to fit snugly against the seal. I didn't move the gearbox much to see if it actually stops fluid leaks. I like it because it protects the output shaft splines and keeps dirt out. Cons: YOU doubled the price for it! I bought it for $6. Came back to buy another one and they are $14 now! I really hate it when Revain raises the price of things that get good reviews. I want to give one star to everything I buy just to keep the price…
