This was the perfect adapter to replace my wife's laptop. Tip if you buy one of these. Make sure your laptop model appears in the supported models list. On my first order I provided the model number of the adapter and received the wrong item. This is because Asus uses the same adapter body for multiple models, but they have different ends, so they will not fit the computer even if the voltage and adapter model are correct.

This worked great for a faulty OEM charger on my budget ASUS laptop. I thought the laptop would be a gonner but this brought it back to life. The battery also eats up on the Asus, of course, but while I've plugged it in, it's working quite well. However, I won't be buying an ASUS anytime soon.

This laptop charger worked great for my F555L Asus laptop. I ordered it sometime in May this year and today (7/21) it stopped working. He just died without warning. Despite changing sockets (more than 10) and simply unplugging for a while, this does not work. Don't waste money on it. Even if it's only used for a short time, it doesn't last long. All in all it took me about two months. Skip this charger and check another one.

My puppy was chewing on the cable from my old laptop so I bought this as a replacement. Works as expected and will continue to work for a few weeks after purchase. I kept it away from the puppy so I'm not sure if it's puppy safe or not but if that doesn't bother you then it should work just fine. It's actually longer than the original laptop charger, so that's a bonus. :)

Buyers beware, the adapter started having intermittent problems after only 6 months of use. after 12 months it stopped working. The contact tip is VERY brittle and will eventually break. After 3 days of correspondence with the seller/manufacturer, no replacement was sent; Consequently, the seller refused the 2-year warranty. There are other adapters that are sold 25-30% cheaper with 1 year warranty. The seller/manufacturer has no telephone or direct email contact, which prevents the warranty…

Admittedly, it was a little confusing replacing an Asus power cord that my cat had been nibbling on. I chose this model because the description clearly states which model it is for and it seemed a reasonable price. It turned out to be a good choice. It arrived as promised and connected directly to the car. It started loading immediately and has been working fine ever since.
