The bolt is smaller than 1/4 inch so they tend to go sloppy in the hole. I'm glad they have a small screw hole because without a screw in a shelf, shelf wobbles and the pin comes out of the hole so the shelf falls and what was on the shelf falls too. I'll look for another brand that fits the hole in the side panel really tight.

We installed some custom closets in my daughter's bedroom but she wanted to add some more shelves. These were the exact same mounts the carpenters used so I bought them from Revain. I didn't need that much but I couldn't beat the price. They are simply plugged directly into the pre-existing holes in the cabinet. I then used a short screw to secure it. I have an IKEA Pax cabinet and the sides are slightly curved so the shelves don't line up which causes the plastic pins to bend. I rearranged clothes and one shelf finally gave up the ghost. It didn't help that it had a heavier load on it than some of the other shelves. I bought these replacement pins and they fit the holes perfectly and can support the shelf and clothes on them. I will also be replacing the pins on a few other shelves. Very happy with this purchase, glad my shelf is usable…

I bought these pens to replace broken plastic pens that came with my cabinets. They are very durable and fit perfectly. Make sure you measure the openings in your cabinets and purchase the most appropriate size (5mm or 6mm). My size is just under 5mm and these pins easily went into a tight fit. I am very satisfied with this product. I have enough for all my cabinets and I'm sure one broken plastic clip isn't going to break a glass bowl shelf.
