For cheap liners they are decent. Brush tips work especially well. However, all the fine line tips need a little scribbling on a blank board before they work. Otherwise they will end up drawing a dotted line.

Bought these for journaling and watercolors. Do not smear when wet, necessary for watercolors. I've enjoyed using them on several projects and am looking forward to this summer. A variety of line widths is good.

I was so excited to get these different size spring pens to work with. Unfortunately they don't dry completely even after a few weeks and I don't use them that often. I have a huge set of pencils and I use them for detailing; and they all dried up pretty quickly. Very disappointed and not worth the dollars. There are many better products out there.

For the money and compared to Pigma Micron pens this is what you need. These nibs don't fade after a few words written with dry acrylic paint like Pigma Microns so that's a big plus and these pens are a lot cheaper! I recommend these pens as you also get a couple of brush pens which are useful for highlighting and shading. All round good buy/product!

0.05 incredibly thin. I don't know how I drew with a pen without him. The lines are clean and dark. Another benefit: after leaving my desk in a hurry, being away for a few days, and coming back to find I'd left my beloved 0.05 without a lid, I was able to spice it up with a few doodles - didn't have it at all dried! I can't believe such quality pens are sold at this price. I will definitely buy it back when I've used up all my current ones.

Considering the price, they're pretty good for what you pay. You have to go slow though, you can't make quick, long marks without lots of fading/ink jumping. The biggest problem with this problem is the smallest 005 and 01. Unlike Sakura's micron, it's harder to get a consistent saturated line. The ink is not jet black but a very dark gray. These are exactly what I was looking for and they don't even show through on the brush! They're not entirely black, but more of a dark charcoal color, which is actually pretty cool. And when I use a brush, it blends a lot better than the markers I'm used to. The lack of a star is odd, but it's due to the product itself and because the pens' names have definitely faded over time. I need to draw type numbers when it's hard to know which is which (see image). But I love the way they work - it just
