This faucet door actuator worked great on my 2000 Ford Taurus. It took about half an hour to remove the old part and install a new one. My heating is finally working!

I have already installed this part in the HVAC assembly under the center section rotated slightly towards the passenger side and it works great and the best part! Not a sound in the world, very happy and it seemed to me that it was very well done.

So get them first, it doesn't work! Got this as a replacement, still doesn't work! I hope I can save people some headaches with this. I went to the auto parts store to order one, they asked me if the air conditioning is automatic or manual? Then the light came on, this one is from Revain for manual climate control and it doesn't work, if you have automatic climate control you just got a new one from the auto parts store and it works like a charm!

My original actuator stopped working (similar to a 2004 Ford Taurus) and needed a quick and easy replacement. I found this and thought it might be a good deal if it worked. Several hours everything worked perfectly, and then suddenly stopped. I am very disappointed but not very surprised at the price. Save yourself the hassle (not usually very easy to achieve, especially for my car) and just buy a higher quality actuator. Personally, I choose Dorman, which is $50 in the auto zone.
