Allows the dressing to be kept clean and toes dry, providing stable protection following post-operative procedures and forefoot trauma. Square toe feature acts as a bumper and gives added protection at the toe area. Adjustable ankle strap and padded heel minimize heel slippage and allows for proper foot positioning. Rigid Rocker sole and traction soul allows for ease of ambulation and pressure reduction. Our broken toe or foot / Post Op boot can be worn on either the right or left foot. And comes with a removable insole.

I do not recommend.

This is described for use on fractures. I have a stress fracture in my right leg and cannot drive in the oversized knee high boots they gave me at the hospital. I bought it to only use it for walking to and from my car when I have to go somewhere. This shoe is designed for driving. The sole of this shoe is not stiff enough to support walking with a fracture. It's made of dense foam instead of a hard plastic shell. When I got up, it didn't even support the fracture as well as regular tennis…

I recommend this product.

I had bunion surgery and wore heavy knee high boots for 4 weeks which were paid for by my health insurance. However, the big boot was too hot and made my right calf look smaller due to the restrictions. I got this little boot because I regained flexibility in my big toe. I wouldn't recommend anyone doing this right after bunion surgery as the bottom isn't as stiff as a big/tall boot to prevent movement. Only do this if you are comfortable with allowing your toes to move a little with normal…

Good for weight shifting from broken toes to midfoot and heel

I broke the base of my thumb and second toe while cruising and this shoe is so much better than the regular medical bay splint that is used for me was made on the ship . It is easy and quick to put on and take off. The Velcro ankle strap is quite long but there is a small piece of Velcro included that can be moved back and forth to double up the end and adjust the strap to suit your needs.
