Very well made - happy with the purchase. They were strong and didn't fall apart. Ideal for patients who need help with oral hygiene. I also ordered "Premium Oral Tampons - Tampons". I like them too.

We used these tampons for my father-in-law's oral care during his final days. He didn't answer and brushing his teeth was impossible. So every few hours we'd wet some of those tampons, squeeze out the excess water, and roll them over his teeth, gums, and tongue. Not only do they help with cleansing, but they also soothe and refresh dry mouths. And safe without worrying about the sponge shifting and causing a choking hazard. I highly recommend!

Despite what the box/packaging says. . . There is no taste or toothpaste that I can detect even after getting wet with water. One had some kind of white powdery substance in the sealed plastic. . . dried toothpaste? I do not know. I'm suspicious of them and probably won't use them.

My wife has advanced Alzheimer's disease. She covered her mouth while I used the tampon. When I tried to remove the tampon, the sponge came off easily and got stuck in the back of her throat. I was able to restore it. When reviewing unused tampons, I see that this is a problem. For such patients, I recommend using tampons only on the outer front of the teeth.
