Looks good but is brittle and will break after some use

I was hoping for a durable coffee grinder that wouldn't throw plastic in my food as I've had cheaper salt shakers with this problem. The description of this ceramic grinder mentioned here and it looked solid. Unfortunately, it has a lot of plastic parts. I put pink himalayan salt in it and it broke after about a dozen uses, the plastic ring popped out and seems beyond repair. Beautiful table decoration, but short-lived. Misadvertised Description

My sister bought one of these because I wanted it for Christmas (which I didn't get). She was disappointed and warned me, but I bought one anyway hoping it had a faulty grinder. The two things I want from a pepper mill are the ability to adjust the grind level and you should be able to grind the pepper fairly quickly. Similar products work better than this grinder

I have a pair of smaller brand like glass and stainless steel grinders (one for pepper and one for salt crystals) that I also bought from Revane; Based on the reviews and description of this ceramic rotor/grinding element, I expected it to perform the same or nearly the same function, but it doesn't work as I expected.
