This photo is what came out of my dryer's lint filter on my first wash. It was the only garment in the dryer. If this continues, after another dozen washes, the entire blanket will be in the lint filter. Also, I used Premium Downey on this comforter and it's still NOT soft.

Actually heavier than I expected but just right for me. However, be careful when washing. A lot of fibers fall off, especially on the first wash/dry, which actually clogs my dryer's filter, so check the filter a few times during the drying process. Other than that, this is a great product.

Washed and softened. Lots of fluff in the dryer! but it's hot in Texas in the summer, and when the air conditioning is on, this blanket is perfect. They took off the top sheet and only slept under the covers. My husband said he's never slept better. It really is a KING size and when placed on the bed it looks like a beautiful bedspread. Bought this duvet to use as one of many layers. My bedroom tends to get warm over the course of the night, so I was looking for a blanket that I could just throw off when needed. This duvet fulfills that desire perfectly as it offers a level of comfort without being overly heavy or bulky. The color was chosen to hide the shedding of three of our dogs, one of whom was a bedfellow. I took off a star because the initial cleaning clogged our dryer hose with a lot of lint.

Pros:* Great for sound sleepers. It keeps you warm, but because it's breathable, you won't feel fatigued.* Affordable* Quality comparable to much more expensive waffle comforters. Cons: * A lot of lint builds up in the first wash. Be sure to clean the lint filter* Driftwood, but to be honest I have cats. Not sure if a more expensive blanket doesn't do the same. No holes, just hooks, but that's what I expected from a waffle blanket. I still love him and will live with him!
