We bought this drain because it looks nice & we are building a home. However, after meeting with the plumber and tile guy on Friday, Feb. 8, they have numerous concerns about the membrane, drip pan, drain connection, pitch to the drain, etc. Even though it looks nice, they both advise against using it. And now the "return window" has closed and the only thing we did was take it out of the box. We're bummed.

These work great and are as good as anything else that’s out there for a better price. The Hotmop guys had no issues settings these up when they waterproofed and floated the shower pan for the tiler. They look amazing and work great. I pop the inserts out every couple of months to clean out the drain basket and rinse the drains out. I am remodeling 2 bathrooms, and bought the 24 and 36 based on a recommendation from my contractor. And I am so glad I did. I appreciate the clean look, the matching finish to my showers and faucets, and I really like being able to insert the tile into the center- in my case the shower floor tile is pebble, and I love the look, the quiet drain is super efficient too.

Great product, I love it, it’s very stylish and everyone who sees it loves it too. This strainer picks up hair very quickly so you have to be on top of it probably once a week. I’m the homeowner who installed this myself. I’m not a plumber by trade just a DIYer weekend warrior. Straight forward to install, just read and look over the plans several times and you’ll be in good shape. I tore out my tub and went with this 24in for a stand up shower.

People like tilable linear drain because it is hides the drain. This one has big gap between the drain pan and the tilable piece that goes over it. It's obvious where the drain in located. It's not as discrete and some higher end ones.

I saw this linear drain on Pinterest and had to get it for our new bathroom! The install was fairly easy, just make sure you create your pitch for it to drain into.My contractor did not have any issues with installing the tile over the drain to give it that finished look. I love the clean modern look

Super nice addition for the new bath. This installation for this requires a lot of planning ahead. You have to measure everything to the 1/16th”. Once in it looks amazing and works great. I tossed the leveling wheel things it came with, but before the thin set went in they did help me measure

Renovating our bathroom, the amount most charge for vertical drains is ridiculous. This allowed me to match the tile and is significantly less expensive than most high-end vertical drains.

I bout two for the bathroom remodels and they look fantastic. They are great quality and have a "filter" catcher indise too. This is a HUGE plus as it catches hair and drain blocking stuff. If you hate them they can be removed. Great drains!
