Followed instructions, washed in cold water after initial receipt and dried the set by itself, solving the problem of hair loss. Used several times now. Now wash with hot water. Anyone who took a science course in college knows how to use hot water on dirty towels. There was no bleeding onto other towels or residue falling out. It is not caught by the filter drier. Just a pity they were a bit longer at around 4 inches. For people who aren't skinny, it doesn't wrap around you where it will stay.

I will not recommend them without giving you my honest opinion. This is the fourth set of towels we have purchased. We buy them because they are so big and soft. They wash well, but pay attention to the colors. So far from 4 of them (after many washes over the years) there are spots where the color looks like they are "discolored", "stained". Ordered these towels to replace faded towels that IKEA no longer sell. IKEA has gone rough rather than soft, and their current offering isn't as good. But this.
