A good product. suitable for making candles

This product worked well for beeswax candles, although my 2 inch rod could probably be a size larger to blend the outside edges better.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Doubtful

Great for making candles

My husband uses this wick on his Evod clearomizer. Shipping was fast (Prime member). The price was a little high, but we trust Revain. Who wants to waste time looking for a candle wick? He boiled the wick for about 3 minutes. Many Thanks

Pros
  • Size #1/0
Cons
  • Not sure

I'm thinking of these

Made a pair of 1.7 inch diameter candles using this wick (fill an old cardboard tube from paper towels with wax, then remove the cardboard when cool). Not very consistent results on burns. The first was my fault, I left the candle burning 'unattended' for too long and it went out. The second likes to only burn for about an hour or so before the flame becomes very small and weak. I'm not sure if the problem is my expectations or a malfunction (mine or the wick).

Beeswax Candles

I used this for my beeswax candles. The candle is sized correctly, but the candles smoke and cover my Himalayan Salt candlesticks with black soot. Unsuitable wick for beeswax candles. I'm disappointed. Update January 2019 I've made my tea lights with beeswax and have had some success with this #1/0 wick. However, beeswax differs in how it burns from one batch to the next. For some this wick is too big and smokes, for others it is too small and the candle tunnels. It is very important to test…

Pros
  • Unprimed (uncoated), lead free
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Wick Chart WRONG

I reasonably believe that this company has never made pure beeswax candles. The reason is that their wick size chart is wrong! You will NOT be able to correctly burn a pure beeswax hand-poured candle if you select a wick from this chart that matches the diameter of your candle. Whatever the diagram tells you, you simply MUST go up about two levels to make a properly burning beeswax candle. If you instead use the wick size given in the chart, you will have a candle that does not burn brightly…

Pros
  • 10 yard wick (uncut)
Cons
  • boring pack
