But works fine. for pressure cooker spares and accessories

As indicated in the listing I needed calibration. It shut off too early and the check valve didn't always close. A quarter turn and now it works. It also notes elsewhere that this is a 10 amp part and the original was 15 amp. It remains to be seen if that means it won't last as long. Even then, it will be cheaper to buy a different part than a different pot.

DANGER - READ BEFORE BUYING

This is a dangerous, poorly calibrated switch that can turn your instant pot into a bomb! I bought this pressure switch to replace a broken one in my instant duo pot. This switch looks identical to the OEM switch and fits perfectly. However, on first use it became over pressurized and began depressurizing through the emergency depressurization. I immediately opened the pressure relief valve and saw that it took over five minutes to release all the pressure! Typically, full depressurization…

  • Home & Kitchen
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Worked for me for error code C6 on Instant Pot Ultra

This part works! I bought 6kw. Instant Pot Ultra for $9.99 at Goodwill. When connecting, an error message C6 appeared on the LED. I had to buy an inner pot as it was missing and I wasn't sure if the inner pot had anything to do with the C6 bug. After the inner pot comes the same error message. I then discovered that the lid is not the "official" Ultra Lid (no problem for cooking, it works). I tried to get this part from the Instant Pot Company but they were only interested in the original…
