The front slit isn't obvious - the skirt is kind of wrapped which is great - you don't show a lot of leather but it's comfortable and you can walk around in it if need be. I love the look of this dress BUT I need a polyester blend dress NOT 100% COTTON. It's a beautiful dress advertised as a mixed dress so I bought it. Beautiful maxi dress! The colors are bright, just like in the picture. It has a matching strap but you can wear any strap with it as it is not a fixed strap. It can be worn as a cover-up for a beach dress. I think for a regular dress I might need to cover up the neckline and leg opening a bit.
