🖍️ Prextex Classroom Pencil Organizer and Crayon Basket Set, Assorted Colors (Pack of 12) Review

I use this for my elementary school students in a small group. This is great for her pencils and little manipulations that we might need in a dyslexia class.

I chose this basket for my kids toothbrushes. I keep buying new toothbrushes because they confuse who's who. And this basket was the perfect size and a good price. Each child has their own basket.

I ordered 3 of these for my class but each set has at least one broken basket. I can't imagine them holding up to fourth graders all year round. I had high hopes, but was very disappointed.

I bought these as drawer dividers and for use in the toilet. They work great for both. I have one with razors/extra blades. The other contains all the floss and extra toothbrushes your hygienist will give you. You get the gist.

These little baskets are exactly what I expected. As a teacher, I used them all the time in class, year after year. When I retired I took them home and used them as drawer organizers in the kitchen and bathroom. They last forever and are perfect for make-up, scissors, nail files etc. at the bar, pencils and pens in the kitchen and all the little things that always end up in the "garbage" drawer.

Due to COVID my students had to wipe and clean their desks a lot more often to stay clean. I zip-tie these baskets to their desks for them to store their rags in. I had them for about 2 weeks with 26 students in a constantly changing year group and they saved my life. I thought 26 8-9 year olds would break them in the first week but no! They turned out to be a great buy. The colors are super strong too!

My third graders have been using these baskets all year! And let me tell you, it wasn't easy with them. They are SUPER durable. Probably the most durable baskets I've ever ordered! I ordered two batches because I really liked them! I just cleaned the student desks and the baskets have been left in their original form! (Except for one basket, which the kid "colored" in pencil *frowns*, but that's not the basket's fault!)

I use these with my students as writing supplies: dry erase markers, wet erase markers, markers, pencils, dry erasers. Each child has their own, and they take better care of the products because they feel like they are "his" by putting them in their basket. The classroom has evolved from a disorganized mess to an organized space, focused on learning and organized by the students themselves!
