I ordered these because I thought they were flat so I could use them in art journals. The domes at the top make this impossible. You mentioned it in the review.

This glass is not the best quality for the price. I could get a pack of better quality flat beads at a craft store with a coupon. They have a seam all the way around and just feel cheap. Maybe that's the idea since it makes them lighter, but I'm not impressed. The sizes are weird.

A friend gave me some of these glasses and I love them! They look like glass pebbles with convex tops and flat bottoms like the ones you see in the craft/floral departments at WalMart, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc., but they are clear plastic. Another difference is that they come in a variety of sizes - the smallest looks like a drop of water! - and they are not as heavy as glass.
