Great Product: Picture Hangers

Was surprised at how good they really are compared to plastic. Really great product. Reinforces the frame and fits snugly.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Useless Features

High-quality picture hangers

Ideal for sunny locations. Why build a frame out of plastic parts? Plastic breaks down in the sun, so you can't argue with metal. What I like the most is that I can crop the frame to make it look prettier and more professional.

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost everything fits

Perfect fit very strong.

I had to replace the screen in several windows. When I removed the frames from the windows, the 20-year-old plastic corners began to crack. My frames are beveled and all I could find commercially were plastic frame corners with no bevel. These clips are perfect for my 5/16 frames.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • No execution

Buy these instead of plastic corners

These frame corners require you to bevel cut the corners in a 5/16 inch thick aluminum frame. Plastic corners break in the sun. I used these corners with 5/16" 16" 7" aluminum frames bought at a hardware store. The store only had plastic corners, so I ordered these Prime Line corners from Revain.

Strong! But cutting the rail can be tricky

These corners are MUCH BETTER than the ones stored in plastic boxes. but they have a downside. You need to cut the corners of the pipes on four sides. I used an inexpensive $19 rotary knife kit on the end of my Rotozip. and I did, but it wasn't accurate. Perhaps a band saw with fine teeth would have worked better. but figure out how you're going to cut the pipe before you do it. But they are strong and amazing and they are perfect for the finished screen rim tubes that you can buy at Lowe's.

Pros
  • The corners are dented
Cons
  • I will add later

Disappointing

I have about 20 bars in my house. Every time I clean windows, some of the plastic corners of the screen break, so I immediately ordered 50 when I saw those metal corners. On Wednesday I decided to try them with the screen which had a tiny hole in it. They didn't fit very well. deep into the aluminum frame and the frame felt wobbly, but the biggest disappointment was that the screen was about 1/4 inch shorter in either direction. Maybe they are for a different screen system, but for me they were
