Works best on a clothes rail

Used to add another rail to a children's closet. I wish the lip was a little bigger but so far it's held a full load of baby clothes so it works well enough. Terribly easy to install.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Without Insurance

Twice the price of orange or blue

I used these with a dowel stick from the hardware store to make a perch for my chicken coop. It works great and since one end is open at the top I can remove the pole, clean it and replace it. When screwing in, make sure that the open side remains at the top. If you use a clothes rail in your closet, simply measure the thickness to ensure it fits snugly against these brackets.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

The work is pleasant, but easily divided.

They work well when lifted and not separated. The only issue I have is that they are easy to over drill and split. It's probably my fault for being in a hurry to put them up. If you overtighten them even just a little, they will break too. A simple metal collar in the hold would easily solve the problem, but it would likely increase the cost significantly. Or you could just take your time and that would be fine too!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Quick and efficient installation

Installation was very quick and easy for them. It took me about five minutes to pick them both up. Wood isn't the heaviest, so be careful not to overtighten them or they can crack and break. I definitely heard a little creaking on the first one I made, but I didn't see any cracks. I've had them for a few months now and they hold up my curtain rod well. If you wish, you can paint the plain wood to match your walls or decor.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

We are in a California fire zone

and have used this in our hallway to cordon off the front of the house. We literally hung a shower curtain in the hallway to block off the front half of the house because ash was getting into the house - so the back bedrooms are a plastic bubble with no ash. You can feel the difference in the air as you walk from the back of the house to the front. They were clean and easy to install and could later be removed with minimal damage to the walls. Very happy.

Pros
  • Great Construction
Cons
  • No Performance

While it works

I've had this in my house for the last 15 years, I live here and wooden dowels have worked. One only broke in half due to the amount of clothing I had, but I was surprised my wooden stick didn't break. I was able to install it myself (and I'm useless with the tools). I remixed most of my clothes and two weeks later they are still holding up. While not enough time to give a full review, everything works so far. If it fails in a few months I'll post an update.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Quality
