Practice Makes Perfect

Pretty cool printing, making stamps takes some practice but once you get used to hot cars and all it gets a lot easier. Also know that what you cut out will be left out. So if you want the image to print you have to crop it upside down, which was a bit difficult for me at first, but after a while it's easy. One thing that helped me with this was that I printed the vinyl sticker upside down so I knew what to cut out and what to leave.

Perfect for beginners

I wanted to print on linoleum again and decided on this set. It comes with a pretty good selection and is really perfect for block printer beginners. I would definitely recommend using a roller to apply ink to your blocks (or even just get real printing ink). My only real issue with this set is that the blades feel dull, making linoleum a bit difficult to carve. due to drag, so be careful not to cut yourself. I hope to fix this by sharpening the blades. good starter kit for beginners

This is what a beginner needs. The blades are a bit dull, but not bad for a beginner. Another downside to this setup is that only one person can cut at a time - if you're like me and have a bunch of kids wanting to learn, they'll have to take turns. This is not our first enrollment as I have many children who want to study. We have 2 other kits to compare but we are definitely pros - just beginners learning as we go.
