The best thing about this light ring is the top and bottom mounts. I have a cell phone and iPad holder that I want to use with it. I didn't buy a stand because I already had a green screen stand that I recently bought.

I used to have old studio lights that cast uneven light and weird shadows. It's the complete opposite. Smooth, accurate lighting, very few shadows. Works great and is easy to set up. The dimmer works fine. Never come back!

Update: The first ring I received didn't work and I returned it. The company has done everything to keep a good name in my eyes. I can only recommend these LEDs. Works great giving you the natural light you need. I use it for photos and videos. Couldn't be happier

I bought this based on a recommendation on YouTube and am very pleased. I can't give it 5 stars because I just discovered that Revain has an identical product for $100 less and it looks like the only difference is the name on the bag. Although it looks like the same plastic construction. To be honest if I had been more careful and realized that the other one had 118 reviews and not this 4 I would not have bought this product.

Saw this on YouTube while looking for a lightweight and directional mic. This halo ring had a great review so I decided to buy it. Glad I did because it's awesome. I shoot videos in an office with no natural light and poor lighting at best. This light quickly solved all my problems.
