ok but not what i expected

One corner was damaged due to poor shipping in a large box, no bubble wrap or anything. This is closer to a solid board than a sheet of composite pulp. Bought to replace a center panel on a cabinet frame that I have saved. Works fine for now but eventually I'll switch to 1/4" oak paneling. It soaks up satin/polyester fairly easily but is more like a sponge, soaks it up. It doesn't look good so I flipped it. Lay in contact wood grain paper and stain it worked great although she's also so paper…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white

Perfect for watercolor and ink!

I bought this board to work on multiple paintings at the same time. My other board has a handle and clamps but it's also quite heavy so I thought it might fit. Perfect! My environment is Inktense and I'm not afraid to use water so there's always a risk of board warping. Not with that. I took two photos with it and this is exactly what I need. Watercolor tape also sticks well (not the one that needs to be dampened, but the one that sticks). I use thick watercolor paper so I don't stretch it…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

Crumpled card stock

Definitely big enough for my watercolor paper (22x30". Card size 24x36"). However, if I didn't use this to stretch and hold my images in place as I work, I'd be a bit more disappointed. I'm a flexible person and can do with what I'm given. But I'm also honest. This board is quite fragile, unlike other hardboards I've bought in the past. It also had some greasy, very visible fingerprints on one end. Part of one edge was flattened and the corner of the panel was partially chipped. Again, I can…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
