One corner was damaged due to poor shipping in a large box, no bubble wrap or anything. This is closer to a solid board than a sheet of composite pulp. Bought to replace a center panel on a cabinet frame that I have saved. Works fine for now but eventually I'll switch to 1/4" oak paneling. I bought this board to work on multiple paintings at the same time. My other board has a handle and clamps but it's also quite heavy so I thought it might fit. Perfect! My environment is Inktense and I'm not afraid to use water so there's always a risk of board warping. Not with that. I took two photos with it and this is exactly what I need. Definitely big enough for my watercolor paper (22x30". Card size 24x36"). However, if I didn't use this to stretch and hold my images in place as I work, I'd be a bit more disappointed. I'm a flexible person and can do with what I'm given. But I'm also honest. This board is quite fragile, unlike other hardboards I've bought in the past.
