Nothing to say other than YOU WORK!

I bought it for my son. He runs track and field, plays soccer and has suffered from a split tibia and a stress fracture for several years. Bought them just as "right now what can it hurt" and he said he has no pain most days now. He wore them every day, no matter what, for the first month, but now he only wears them when he runs. The best buy!

  • A lot of positive emotions

Executes the intended work.

This calf splint compression sleeve works as stated/advertised. Developed a severe fall after many years of running. A few weeks off and with a compression strap and back to normal mileage. Don't expect miracles because the only complete cure is resting the irritated muscles and tendons. The compression bandage relieves pain while walking and assists in returning to activity. This will not necessarily allow you to walk on a badly sore calf.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Fits

Try different places until you find the right place

Worked great for me I had very bad cleft shins on both legs, left leg was worse I have tried and bought worked for me. I'm a FedEx driver, I put it on, tried it in different places to see where it felt best until I found the right place. After buying another one, as well as ice packs and a muscle roller to treat them, my shin splints are gone from freezing, stretching and massaging them with the muscle roller.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Painless in Monterey

Honestly. I have been suffering from horrific, painful shin splints while running for several months and have been very skeptical of anything that could help relieve the pain. I followed the doctor's advice, rested for a few weeks, changed shoes, put ice on and as soon as I started walking again the pain returned. One day I was looking for something else to support myself when I came across this miracle product. I've been wearing the Pro Tec compression bandage for a few weeks and I'm veryโ€ฆ

Great calf support

I'm a police academy cadet and I do a lot of walking, running short distances and doing tactical training. About a month into my annual program, I developed shin splints and they were severe (I'm now in my fourth month). Actually, my doctor didn't want me to run for a month, but since that wasn't possible without expulsion from the academy, I was only left with compression bandages, which worked well. So I ordered them, I had them for the night, which actually took more than one night. But theโ€ฆ

Do you suffer from injuries to the peroneus brevis tendon?

This brace is the only one I know of that has a vertical band that protects your calf and tendons from stretching. My problem was on the outside of my fibula (peroneal tendons) where these tendons want to snap off the bone because the roads I run and walk on are topped by our crown. Since wearing this brace I have suffered from severe rashes and even bacterial infections due to the high temperature of this brace and my skin's reaction to the neoprene. What worries me is that there is moreโ€ฆ
