Bought this a few months ago and I love it. But I've had a lot of practice and it has developed a few cracks which personally haven't bothered me, but I bought another one right away in case I need to take my laptop to a meeting, which I need to do now. I just unwrapped it (I left it in its cellophane wrapper) and it doesn't have a rubberized finish! It's not fair - it's too late to go back. I've used this since my computer was new. I sent my PC to Apple for service (much happier now) and they removed the cover and keyboard cover so I bought a new one. The reason for the 4 stars for durability/strength is that the first one I bought (over 16 months ago) had a slightly different design and after about 9 months there was a crack in one corner which became a missing part . To the right. So I can still highly recommend it.

I bought another brand case in April that looked exactly the same. Aside from not fitting in well and feeling like I would break my laptop trying to turn it on, the other case also broke and fell apart within 2 months just from the pressure on the laptop.
