Great value for money. The only negative I have to say is that the tripod mount is delicate and can break fairly easily, so be careful when screwing it in.

I bought this for my boyfriend a few years ago but he broke it recently. He had a camera strapped in his pocket and sat down - wrong move! It is very strong and the screw is metal not plastic. Great buy for the price.

It's really small. The product description says it is 5 inches long; Unfortunately, its length barely reaches 4 inches. I think I should have paid more attention to the dimensions as a 5 inch tripod would not be long enough for my needs. Maybe I can add some dictionaries to get the height I need.

I carry my Fuji Finepix underwater camera when snorkeling and use this tripod to hold the camera when I'm making videos or photos. The camera has a strap that attaches to my arm so I don't drop the camera and the tripod is handy for holding when I'm swimming and taking videos. Also good for videos on land.

Yes, some people still like to use cameras for photos instead of smartphones! Setting up a camera without an adjustable head is quite difficult.

My kids cameras came with tripods very similar to this one but with a plastic screw to attach the camera. This continued every 5 minutes before the thread snapped. I bought this because it looked exactly like the original but shows up really well in the photos with the metal screw for camera attachment. What came does not have a metal screw, but a plastic screw. disappointed to have spent $12 for two of these as they are very easy to remove. They may be suitable for adults but not for children.

I already have several of these tripods because I can put them in my travel bag and use them often. All I need is a large rock or tree stump to mount them on and they hold my Canon cameras with no problem as long as they aren't too heavy like my Rebel. Just don't overtighten the screw. I had broken off one of these and part of the screw is still stuck in my chamber. My husband has a lot of tools at the shop so he was able to remove that part of the screw for me. I lost one of my tripods…
