SWR could not be lowered to a reasonable value. but I needed a short antenna and had limited choices. Okay, for listening to nearby stations, ProComm suggested another model, but I couldn't find that model online.

This is a nice antenna that works very well. It's short, less than a foot tall, and very inconspicuous. Edge. When you sit on the car, the vinyl coated magnet is the only thing on the paint. However, you need to be careful when removing it. You have to pull straight up, if you tilt it, the sharp edge will scratch the metal panel. I wrapped duct tape around the fairing to prevent this from happening.

Delivered mid March 2020, first try June 2020. The antenna shaft has come loose from the screw in the base that fits the magnet. (see photo). I was shocked! I had to rummage around and buy another, more expensive antenna, which is what I had to do the first time. Revain, you screwed me! Seller information disappeared and I lost $$$. Save yourself the hassle, spend the extra $40 and get a famous product. If I could I would rate this rubbish -5 stars! DO NOT BUY
