Not sure if the batteries were "fresh "

Out of habit I always check the battery voltage before fitting. One of the two batteries was below specification. I usually won't use it. In general, I've experienced too many premature failures, including leaks, with all types of Duracell batteries over the last year or two. I switched to Energizer et al.

Pros
  • Health and Life
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Mine came a little damaged but it worked. Production date 2016, no expiry date, Made in Switzerland is on it. As they were made in 2016 I checked the Duracell website to see how long they should last and they only guarantee 3 years of storage. It's 4 years old so they're coming back.

Pros
  • Household batteries
Cons
  • I will add later

Ordered Duracell 377 batteries (2 pack) arrived in a package, one completely rusted and the second badly tarnished. The date of manufacture is 2012, so the packaging was probably stored in a damp place, and corrosion is not an unexpected consequence for a silver oxide battery after so many years. What should not have happened, however, was this product being shipped without even a cursory quality check. Returning a cheap item is a hassle and I won't do it.

Pros
  • Button cell battery and button
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
