hard to start at times

I looked at the screw in the picture in Revain and it seemed to work into the wood with ease, but found that plywood did not. and i found i had to hit them with a hammer first to get them to work. The rest of the screws were fine.

  • Wood Screws

Best Deck Props,

This was my second order. These screws are really good and don't split the wood. I went through the whole tin and not a single bad and/or cracked screw. These torx heads are way better than phillips head screws. The bit that comes with the screws is not your regular little dowel. It's well made and a decent length that fits my drill much better.

These screws are as strong as nails

Screws are the main ammunition in my fastener arsenal and I like tight, strong connections. One of the enemies you'll have to contend with is the lever on the opposite end of the board from where you used the breech. And that can lead to a lot of effort. So I usually use a wide shank and push it in with a lot of torque. To give you an idea of how much torque my wireless draws, it can't deliver that much. I was supposed to use feet/lbs but I didn't measure them. Suffice it to say, if anyone…
