I have had an aquarium with plants for a few years. I've used other shears for trimming bushy plants like Hygro or ferns like Water Elves but nothing compares. The curvature of these scissors really helps trim plants accurately every week, saving a lot of time.

I love these scissors! Due to its length, it will definitely become my favorite pair of scissors for cutting in hard-to-reach places. So far so good, I have to say that these scissors are at least as smooth as they are sharp (if not a little sharper than my standard AquaVitro long range scissors). However, I have to admit I was a little skeptical that the curved blade is much better for trimming/trimming aquarium plants. Excellent scissors for trimming aquarium plants. The points are quite sharp and I've cut Anubias, Giant Martia Swords, Java Fern and delicate Pennyworth. Matte black finish, pleasant to the touch. Do yourself a favor - although they are rust/stainless steel, wipe dry after each use. I have several stainless steel aquarium tools and they last longer if dried and cared for.
