I do a lot of metalworking videos and it might be a bear for the lighting. Glossy reflective surfaces are prone to hot spots that are difficult to tame. The secret is diffused light - light that doesn't seem to come from any particular direction. I use them a lot and sometimes even bounce them off the ceiling to diffuse the light even more. They're big and square, but often necessary for the shots I shoot. recommended

Unfortunately mine was damaged the bottom of the box is cracked. I used a small piece of tape to close the gap hoping it wouldn't tear any further. The softbox lighting kit creates a beautiful focal point lighting effect. This type of light gives a much better ambient light than straight LED arrays. This is a very budget friendly setup, everything feels pretty cheap, thin and the coasters are pretty damp.

This is a great set at a great price. The included bulbs are ideal for indoor use and are bright enough for most applications. It works right out of the box (or in your pocket), is lightweight and portable so it can be used as a mobile photographer or videographer. It's a "lightweight" setup so I'm still not sure how well suited it is for commercial use, but for my family and personal use case it's an excellent choice at an amazing price.

This lighting kit works as it should. It's quite bright. The biggest problem you'll run into is that while you can adjust the color temperature from 3000K to 6500K, you don't know exactly what temperature it actually is. There are no signs to show you.
