These scissors are well shaped for cuticle trimming (and more) and sharp. This new pair definitely showed how worn my really old, different brand shoes were; these really work. The holes on the handle aren't for huge fingers, but it's enough for my large woman's hand. Conveniently, there is a rubber silicone cap that slips over the tip of these scissors for security. I bought these cuticle scissors from Revain after trying some scissors I bought at the store. I really like these cuticle scissors. They were nicely packaged, sharp and have a detachable plastic tip to protect the sharp point of the scissors when not in use. I'm glad I bought them.

I wanted them to cut and pull seams and embroidery stitches and they do a good job although the tips are quite sharp the rest of the blade is less sharp which is disappointing . I've tried 3 other brands and this is by far the best for what I want it for. As for trimming the cuticles - I tried to see how it worked and it didn't meet my standards. If your cuticles are already pressed/twisted against your finger you might be fine, but if you insert a blade under your cuticles and snip them off…

I had to return them as they were larger than expected and the quality was poor. The blades mismatched for a nice clean cut. I suspect that after a short period of use they lose their seal on the adjacent screw and stop working.

My favorite cuticle/nail scissors that I had for many years broke. I bought a few pairs both in store and on Amazon but they were all very dull and the blades were too thick. That's great! I'm so glad I finally found a good match. So sharp and the blade is thin!
