I don't use it as often as I should/could, but it works well with no overfading. Make sure you floss and only leave the gel on your teeth. It contains a high percentage of hydrogen peroxide and will whiten your gums if it gets on it. The white color will go away and I assume there won't be a problem if you don't do it consistently. Follow the instructions to prepare the molds and store the unopened gel in the refrigerator.

Mouthguard does not mold well. Maybe the material is too thick? This might have been user error, but it took two complete sets to get such a set. The gel really has a noticeable effect on my teeth. I always use blue light so I can't say if that makes a difference. Inexpensive alternative to more expensive products from the pharmacy.
