They install easily in an existing ceiling

They install easily in an existing ceiling. Suspension system could be better. Mine comes without an arm and I had to make one. I needed it now.

Pros
  • Rated for 4 #12 conductors at 90 degrees (2 in and 2 out)
Cons

Good product, poor quality control

Got this from another source. He read a review here that they were sent with one of the hands. My puck was missing and over a month later Progress Lighting had not sent it to me. I went to Lowes a long time ago and got one but they don't seem to have a good control over the quality of an otherwise good product.

Pros
  • Size: ceiling opening 6-5/8" long, 15-7/16" wide, 6-5/8" tall and extends 7-1/4"
Cons
  • Worry

Exact Match Best in Housings

The contractor used Progress Lighting throughout my apartment and I wanted to make sure I use the same when I do Fluorescent lights replace my kitchen. This accommodation was an exact match. The progressive aperture Progress Lighting P8066-28 (trim) also fitted exactly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the case didn't have a plastic grommet (snap grommet) to protect the wires from being damaged by sharp objects. body edges.

Pros
  • Can be installed in 1/2" to 1-1/2" ceiling thicknesses
