🛀 Progress Lighting P2978-09 Alexa Brushed Nickel Bath & Vanity Light, 22"W x 9.375"H Review

I bought this for my tiny bathroom for maximum lighting. I definitely got it. I use LED lamps, so I'm almost never at the performance limit. I installed it face up, but it works face down too. But short pears if you don't want them to stick out. Lamps have improved a lot in recent years, so finding one shouldn't be a problem.

It was a pleasant surprise. The material quality exceeded all expectations. Easy installation with good instructions. Well packed. The glass fixtures have a really nice linen texture that adds to the appeal of the design. This lamp fits easily in a modest bathroom. Very happy with this device.

This lamp looks very nice in my bathroom. I hung it upside down so insects wouldn't collect on it. It wasn't a problem. Since I live near the ocean, I sprayed the metal parts with three coats of canned clear coat to keep them from rusting. The white parts of the shades aren't quite bright white, they're more translucent, so they appear a little gray when the light isn't on. I wish it wasn't like that. Apart from that I love it.

I ordered two of these lights to put over our double sink in our bathroom. Man turned on the light. They were easy to install but heavy, so he secured the site before digging in. Since we practically ripped the bathroom apart, this was easy to do. We have actually given the shaded ones down. I thought there was better lighting for combing and makeup, but still kept the light in the bathroom. Light can go up or down. As they ascended, they illuminated the ceiling more than anything else.

Product is attractive as advertised but it rusted within 3 months of installation in my new bathroom with new fan and good ventilation. I have contacted the manufacturer. (Progress Lighting) and they said it shouldn't have happened, they didn't respect their product and told me to go to the dealer. Luckily, Revain.com was the seller and they were friendly and agreed to replace the product or give me a refund/credit even though the warranty was expired.
