Great technology and production upgrade for older bikes

What a huge improvement on my immaculate 1999 Honda CB750 Nighthawk. The shocks are amazing and compatible with all bumps and train tracks. I no longer think about selling my semi-vintage bike.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Not sure

Looks great for chassis

Looks and performs like a progressive product but the paint on the shock eyes was peeling off when I took them out of the box. Not a problem enough for me to make an effort to get them back, but a little annoying. I'll use wire brush and some paint to touch it up.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

1984 Honda Nighthawk cb650sc

Wish it was a tune down. I weigh 150 pounds and the lowest setting is for everyday use. But do you mind if a click deeper is better for urban potholes? I'll never see the top settings so it wouldn't hurt to have one bottom and one top.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not bad

New Shocks - Chassis

I have used progressive products in the past and am generally happy, but this is exactly what I wanted. They are better than the originals as they have a much wider range of adjustment, allowing me to find a setting that really suits my weight and riding style. Fit and looks are excellent.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Modern

Can't beat this price!

Fast delivery, easy installation. The stock shocks on my 1993 Nighthawk 750 have passed the functionality stage. Installed progressive springs 03-1367B, available separately from this seller. At the store I usually give my bikes to, the price is $354 for just a pair of shocks and springs. $354 is 50% more than what I paid here for the same set. Also included was a cool little decal that matched my motorcycle lift perfectly.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Super smooth ride: Chassis

Perfect for 1993 Nighthawk 750. Super smooth ride. Paired with Heavy Duty Progressive Suspension 03-1368C Chrome 9.37" Progressive Rate Springs per pair. Easy installation. Be sure to order a compression tool, you cannot install springs without this. Progressive Suspension 32-5508 standard shock tool. I had 65k rear ones Stock shocks, this pair makes a world of difference to the ride, factory shocks were set to penultimate preload to ride twice, very rough riding alone, now I ride solo with noโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Wires shorter than other kits
