WARNING WARRANTY THIS IS A JOKE

I don't usually write reviews but this one really disappointed me. I bought this item for my wife about 5 months ago. It was working great until it made a loud popping noise and stopped working. I called the company for a warranty replacement and they want me to pay them shipping of the dead item and a $29.99 handling fee. I only paid $38 with free shipping to get started. It's basically a joke that a replacement is more expensive than a new one.
