I really wanted to like this product. Laconic design and a good concept, but unfortunately it doesn't hold its position as we would like. If you only hold the steering wheel to steer, this probably isn't a problem. But if you put a lot of weight on the bar, it moves. You'll have to wait a few more years for a great adjustable stem.

The item has been returned to Revain. The barrel is strong and well made. The bottom of the stem is 31.8mm and the top (the part that attaches to the handlebars) is about 25mm. I have 31.8mm handlebars. My mistake. Love the adjustability and would buy again if the stem fits both places on my bike!

I wanted to love this stem. The idea of a tool-free setup seemed very appealing to me. Received quickly with the premiere from Revain. Looked well built and strong. The problem is how the stem attaches to the handlebars. My steering wheel didn't fit through the hole. I've tried taking them apart to fit but to no avail. I have a mountain bike with 25.4 bar.

Large, robust, fully adjustable stem. Okay I guess you can't make it longer or shorter but you can make it arc shaped and it works great. For people who say it's too loose, tighten it! There is a screw at the bottom (see picture) that adjusts the tension of the stem clamp and mine was very loose by default. I turned the screw about 1/4 turn and it tightened. That's cool!

Works great and has a solid construction. When properly adjusted, the handlebars won't move (unless you're a fat mountain biker, then buy something more appropriate). The only tricky part is fitting the handlebars the first time when they have a lot of flex and flex, but after that you have a variety of adjustments for comfort or quickly folding into a smaller profile for transporting the bike.
