Gives a nice updated look

Amazing boost sensor and easy to install Love the dark tinted design which completely blacks out the sensors when the car is not running.

TOO BIG DIAMETER AND VERY INFINITE RED

THIS KNIFE IS WIDER THAN OTHER 52MM KNIVES AND WILL NOT FIT A 52MM DISPLAY. ALSO THE RED COLOR IS TOO DARK TO SEE EVEN AT NIGHT!

  • Automotive
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Great Value

After looking at over $100+ gauges for hours and not being able to justify the cost, I decided to buy the cheapest option at best. I think it's a pretty solid boost sensor. I've installed it on my turbocharged 91 MP2 and it's pretty accurate at 7psi with no wastegate on the car which is exactly as expected. The vacuum line wasn't long enough for my application, but due to the mid-engine layout, most won't have this problem. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Gauges
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time

The sensor still works after a few years, the LEDs do not.

At first I was very happy with this sensor. After a little over a year, the LEDs illuminating the white letters began to flicker, and then stopped glowing at half-dial. So now the LEDs that illuminate the white letters/numbers on the vacuum (left) of the gauge are not working and the LED at the top of the gauge starts to flicker intermittently. The red LEDs (which I'm supposed to turn on along with the headlights) work fine. I'm considering another of these sensors, but not sure if I'll run…

Instrument not calibrated and difficult to see

Instruments are fine if you don't mind being out of sight during the day. They're also good if you want your readings to be under 2 psi. I modified mine with a clear piece of acrylic I picked up from a home store to replace the glass so I could see the sensor clearly during the day. Both photos are clear acrylic. With tinted glass, the light emitted by the sensor is barely enough to see, but not enough to read the sensor quickly and clearly. Additionally, the needle will move about 2 psi (low…
