Not the same as I received from the seller in store. I was looking for a new security bed like the one I got 7 years ago. Mine is still in good condition, but the rubber backing was discolored from all the contaminants in the air, sweat, etc. I bought it but sent it back quickly, the upper is terry cloth and the loop pattern is not tight enough to prevent dust mites getting in etc. The one I got off the bed was of a much better quality. For the price, it's just not worth it in my version.

Bought a few years ago, the mattress provided excellent stain protection, although there have been no major accidents during use. The problem is that I just took it off and the bottom cover where my head area was was completely flaky with the protective layer that the bottom of the protector uses. We have always been a multi-cat family, but until recently there has never been a problem with "deposits" in unwanted places, namely in the beds.
