One drawstring sucks

These bags are not too bad after we added a second drawstring, which makes it easier, even a joy, to install around the fruit. The single drawstring is a poor design for the intended purpose of this product. After a bit of practice, it is possible to add the second drawstring in about 3 minutes per bag. Eight inches is too long for peaches and pears and apples. Six by six inches would be ideal (if there are two opposing drawstrings).

Pros
  • I Like these. Nice for bagging or covering plants
Cons
  • The bags could be more expensive than alternative methods of fruit protection

epic failure in my review

Don't waste your money. I put these bags on my apple tree and the bags did not even stay closed. I literally had bugs INSIDE the bags. Every single apple that I had a bag on has at least as many bugs/worms as any of the rest of the apples on the tree that didn't have a bag on. They also did not stay on during wind/rain/storms. If I could still return for a refund I would.

Pros
  • The drawstring closure also prevents birds and bugs from getting into the bag
Cons
  • The bags could create a breeding ground for bacteria or other harmful microorganisms

Does NOT stop Coddling moths on fruit trees

It was a lot of work to tie these on every potential apple BEFORE the Coddling Moths started to fly. Even had an extra fine net over them on some part of the tree.I was very hopeful, but almost every apple ended up damaged!NOT worth the effort AT ALL.I will have to try neotodes next year.

Pros
  • The drawstring closure makes it easy to open and close, saving you time and effort
Cons
  • The bags may not be practical for use with fruits that need to be harvested frequently

Keep caterpillars off your veg

You have to tie them right so that you can just pull to untie. That's a pain, but it's worth it. They last the whole season, and probably longer. No peaches for the squirrels

Pros
  • They are easy to use with a simple drawstring closure that keeps your fruit secure
Cons
  • The bags could potentially interfere with the natural pollination process if left on for too long

protect my fruits good for me

I used this on blueberry, blackberry and pear. It is very helpful. It protects my fruit from bugs, birds and squirrels. I am ordering again.

Pros
  • Durable Material -- Made of see-through mesh cloth & 100% nylon, stretchy, lights go- through, can be reusable.
Cons
  • The drawstring on the bags may be difficult to tie for anyone with limited hand strength

Excellent to protect fruit

In the past, I used plastic bags to protect mangoes from squirrels and birds, but that was hit-and-miss. The plastic bag causes mold to grow on the skin of the fruit because it collects water and doesn't allow air to pass thru. Now I use this product to wrap and protect individual fruit from our tree. These bags are mesh bags, so they provide the protection while allow the fruit to dry out after the rain. It was easy to install, and by tying the string securely around the stem, it holds the…

Pros
  • Garden Gift -- The garden net bag can be used in the all growing season, ventilation and penetrating light, great gift for indoor/outdoor gardening.
Cons
  • The bags could be easily mistaken for balloons and cause harm to wildlife if released into the environment

Strong fruit bags! on my review.

These bags are nylon tough. like weed eater line tough. Recyclable. Add a couple mothballs to keep pesky rodents, squirrels and other hungry critters away from developing fruit! Great price & fast shipper. would buy again!

Pros
  • Garden Netting
Cons
  • The bags could leave a residue on the fruit after being removed

Durable. Keeps birds and insects away.

The fruits are normally not at the top of the branch. This product will be really good if it was at the tip of the branch. The bags may not be practical for larger orchards or farms where thousands of fruits need protection!

Pros
  • Works like it should
Cons
  • The bags may not be practical for larger orchards or farms where thousands of fruits need protection

These are great to keep birds, squirrels, etc. off tomatoes!

In the 2021 season, I used these bags to protect my tomatoes and persimmons from various marauders, including squirrels and birds. They were surprisingly effective. Guess critters don't like stiff nylon threads in their teeth.

Pros
  • Opening Size -- About 6.5inch, with drawstring help sealing the open mouth and easy to install.
Cons
  • The bags may not be able to protect against fruit flies or other small insects

So far so good. best in my review

Trying to protect my pears from squirrels. Third year with this tree and I’ve not gotten a pear yet. Hoping these will help. Seem study enough. Wax covered string is a bit awkward to tie but they are holding on nicely.

Pros
  • They help to prevent fruit diseases caused by pests
Cons
  • The bags may not be suitable for use with fruits that require specific nutrients or pH levels to mature properly

Fruit bags in my review

Excellent idea for protecting fruits on trees. Hard to close the opening. Suggest that vendor Redesign for faster and easy closure of the bag.

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • The bags may attract unwanted attention from thieves and vandals
